Who is SustainableIT.org?

SustainableIT.org is a 501 (c)(6) nonprofit organization (NPO) led by technology executives who will advance sustainability around the world through technology leadership. Our mission is to define sustainability transformation programs, author best practices and frameworks, set standards and certifications, provide education and training, and raise awareness for environmental and societal programs that make our organizations and the world sustainable for generations to come.

 

Who should attend?

SustainableIT Impact Awards & Symposium 2024 is built for SustainableIT.org members as well as senior IT and sustainability leaders including CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, CDOs, CSOs, and their VPs/Directors who have a passion for and interest in the role that IT plays in driving sustainable outcomes for their business and their industry.

 

Where & when are the events?

The DevOps + Data Impact 2024 and SustainableIT Impact Awards & Symposium will be held from October 14 to October 16, 2024, at the Fairmont Austin Hotel. For more details, please visit the location page.

 

Do I need to register to attend?

Yes, to secure your attendance at the conference, you must be registered. Registration will close on September 23, 2024.

 

What is the deadline to register?

The deadline to register for the conference and to book hotel rooms is September 23, 2024.

 

I already registered but need to update my personal details, what do I do?

When will the full agenda be available?

The SustainableIT Impact Awards & Symposium website will be updated on an ongoing basis as speakers and sessions are confirmed. 

 

Will any of the sessions be available virtually?

While the sessions will not be available as live, on-demand events, we are pleased to offer the content post-event through various channels. You can look forward to highlights and key takeaways being shared through our website and social media platforms. Stay tuned for updates on where and how you can access the content after the event!

 

How do I nominate for a SustainableIT Impact Award?

You may apply through the Nomination Submission Form by July 19, 2024. The Nomination Submission Form is mandatory from all nominees to be considered. This form will provide SustainableIT.org the information to properly judge the nominations and determine the Impact Award Honorees. If you’re submitting for yourself and your organization, this is the only form where completion is necessary. 

 

When will the Impact Award honorees be announced?

Honorees will be notified after August 1, 2024. The honorees will be announced publicly later in the month of August.  

 

What if I miss the deadline to submit a nomination for a SustainableIT Impact Award?

Unfortunately, missing the deadline of July 19, 2024 will result in missing out on award consideration. However, your nominated project will still be considered by our content team for separate productions (case study publication, webinars, conference session for the October 2024 conference and/or for SustainableIT.org Member content or SustainableIT enthusiasts in our public-facing programs.)

SustainableIT.org has secured a discounted group rate for all attendees at the Fairmont Austin and closes when capacity is hit or on September 23, 2024. Click here for more details.

 

What is the dress code?

• Business casual attire during conference on Monday, October 14 – Wednesday, October 16.
• Cocktail attire for the SustainableIT Impact Awards & Gala on Tuesday evening, October 15.
