Brandon Smith is the Vice President of IT ESG at Human-I-T, a mission-driven nonprofit and social enterprise dedicated to transforming e-waste into digital opportunities for underserved communities. With a deep commitment to sustainability and social impact, Brandon has been instrumental in diverting over 4 million pounds of electronic waste annually, ensuring that this valuable resource is repurposed to empower students, families, and nonprofits with the technology, internet access, and digital literacy they need to thrive.

Brandon's journey at Human-I-T began as a passionate volunteer, and his dedication to relationship-building and sustainable practices has fueled his rise within the organization. His efforts focus on maximizing the ESG and sustainability impact of corporate technology donations, creating win-win scenarios that benefit both the environment and society.

In addition to his role at Human-I-T, Brandon serves as the Chapter Lead for SustainableIT.org's Southern California Chapter, where he collaborates with industry leaders, academics, and global organizations to advance sustainable IT practices. Through this role, he spearheads initiatives that promote innovative solutions to reduce environmental impact while fostering digital inclusion.
