Ann-Marie Yap is the Executive Director of Technology at Stanford Medicine.  Over the past 30 years Ann-Marie Yap has worked in the technology/IT industry for a wide variety of companies including Hughes Aircraft, BellSouth, Cisco, Sony PlayStation and now Stanford Medicine.  Throughout her career Ann-Marie has always taken on challenges whether it is performing environmental testing on the B2 Stealth Bomber or building the New Stanford Hospital.  Ann-Marie believes in encouraging sustainability, diversity and inclusion in all of the companies that she works for.  At Cisco she was the founding member of the Woman Action Network.  At Sony PlayStation Ann-Marie focused on Women in Gaming.  At Stanford Medicine Ann-Marie is one of the founders of the Pride Employee Resource Group (ERG), sponsor for the Executive sponsor for Women in Technology, co-chair for the Stanford Medicine LGBTQ+ subcommittee and is a member of the Stanford Medicine Dean’s Diversity Council.  Ann-Marie has won the EPEAT Purchaser Award 5 years in a row at the 4-star level.  She is a strong advocate for sustainability and has implemented sustainability practices at Sony PlayStation and Stanford Medicine.
